December Give Bach– Meals on Wheels Durham’s mission is to serve the elderly, frail, disabled, convalescing and others who cannot provide proper nutrition for themselves. Dedicated volunteers deliver lunches to our clients each weekday, with the objective of improving the nutritional status and health of these individuals. It is our goal to provide the combination of nutritious meals and social contact that will help our clients to remain independent as long as possible.

nonprofit organization that raises, trains and places dogs to assist people with disabilities such as severe Type 1 diabetes, Addison’s disease, autism, military PTSD and paralysis. Highly trained dogs perform a multitude of tasks that allow greater personal freedom and independence for clients residing in the Commonwealth of VA. It costs approximately $40k over a two year period to raise, train and place a successful service dog. Through generous support, Service Dogs of VA is able to provide service dogs at no cost to those in need.

100% of all donations will be used to provide resources for people affected by the Christchurch shootings and their families through Victim Support Manaaki Tangata. Victim Support Manaaki Tangata provides 24 hour, seven days a week access as an integrated, personalized and professional support to all victims of crime and trauma.
