As a Gastro Pub [Gastronomical Public House], Burger Bach stands out from an ordinary pub, bar or ‘burger joint’. The gastronomical side emphasizes on better preparation and high quality ingredients. With its origins in Europe, a public house is a gathering place for people to have a drink and socialize. A Bach is a New Zealand term for a ‘holiday home’ where family and friends choose to vacation. Baches are an extensive part of New Zealand’s culture and were thought to be originally short for bachelor pad, but actually are often tended to be a family holiday home. What makes it even more interesting is that it is pronounced “batch.”

At Burger Bach, the New Zealand influence is all around but it is our supplier partnership relationships that provide a unique point of differentiation for our brand. Silver Fern Farms in New Zealand is the exclusive supplier of our all pasture raised, hormone free, 100% grass fed, Black Angus Beef and Alpine Merino Silere Lamb. The commitment to using only the best quality, all natural ingredients continues throughout our menu with organic, hormone free, free range chicken, sautéed wild caught shrimp, roasted and raw oysters and steamed mussels. We have created sixteen Bach-made dipping sauces to accommodate our fresh cut fries and have an array of small plates, sides and fresh salads. We offer 30 craft beers on tap and serve Southern Hemisphere wines and seasonal craft cocktails to compliment our menu.
